Empower Hour is an annual fundraising event hosted by YWCA Oahu that highlights and celebrates the achievements of women who have made a significant impact through their involvement in YWCA programs and services. The event honors these exceptional women for their dedication, leadership, and contributions to their communities. This year, HFA was proud to show up and support the event, highlighting one of our own outstanding team members, Waikia “Kiki” Pa, whose leadership and dedication to the community were rightfully recognized at the event.
We are incredibly proud of Kiki, not just for her exceptional work within HFA, but for the remarkable journey she has undertaken to get to this point. Overcoming adversity, Kiki has worked tirelessly to build herself up and create a brighter future for herself and her family. As a part of HFA’s Restorative Transitions Initiative, she stands as a star model of how this initiative is making a meaningful impact on individuals and the wider community. Kiki’s story is a powerful testament to resilience, determination, and the transformative power of support, and we are honored to see her recognized for the incredible strides she continues to make.
